NMSI is made up of the three Museums of the Science Museum, National Museum of Film, Photography and Television and National Railway Museums. The bottle features a hinge made from polypropylene (polypropene), a thermoplastic polymer of propylene. Polypropylene is widely used for making domestic containers and appliances because it is relatively cheap and easy to produce, and is robust enough to withstand hot water, detergents, and rough treatment.
